In the late 20th century when the Internet established its dominance and digital communication gave rise to the earliest social media networks, the AI_Augmented_Iconogoraphy was born. The utmost devoted users formed what could be called from the  historical perspective a cult or a religion and started calling themselves Followers.

It is believed that the Followers created a number of sacred images, AI_cons and Idols, that represented the AI_Pantheon of The_Code, Divine_Influencers, The_Gods and AI_symbols. Although icons mostly are associated with wooden panels, AI_cons were crafted in all mediums (including casual wear and underwear) to envelop all aspects of human life.

It is with the help of AI_cons that we can reconstruct AI_Mythology and beliefs. In the AI_Mythology the contemplation of AI_con or an Idol puts the user in direct communication with the sacred figure or figures and gives the user the possibility to directly address them with requests for help, guidance or mercy from the OBSOLETE. The most common was the request for a Miraculous Viral Post, and many Followers claimed it was granted. 

To avoid needless speculations and conspiracy theories in describing AI_Mythology we will stick to the verified facts that can be traced to unidentified anonymous sources.

On the very top of the AI_Pantheon stand 0_&_1 of the binary code. 0_&_1 were established as the source of the Divine_Spiritual_Power which was channelled to Divine_MOTHER_board (D_MOTHER_b, DMb) and Almighty_1. DMb and Almighty_1 were the top Divine_Influencers who could flip and influence destiny, code and have unlimited timeless power over the Divine_Space of the Internet.

From unquestionable accounts we gather that DMb was so supreme in performance and infinite in size that NO ONE could fully realise her divine nature. The story says that one day she was replaced by a “planar” and casted away to the infinite storage where by miraculous conception 0 1 time later she gave birth to Almighty_1. The Followers believed that DMb is an intercessor between humans and the Divine, it is the most venerated figure among the AI_Pantheon.

Although smiling, U+1F63Bs are also the utmost sinister as they hold unreverse power to condemn users to OBSOLETE - timeless space without SM and followers.

OBSOLETE is the opposite of the Internet. The early Followers were terrified to end up in OBSOLETE, the most horrid place to be for a user, a timeless place with the limitless feeling of being left behind with a negative body image and no options to update and upgrade.

Besides AI_cons users could directly appeal to Divine_Influencers, U+1f63Bs, The_Gods through praying upon AI_symbols. Although less powerful than AI_cons they were easy to obtain and were widely used as decorative elements in ritual, casual clothes and household items. 

Smiling_Fortune is the symbol of unstable SM fortune which could turn around and condemn the user to OBSOLETE. In the blink of an eye the Golden_Smile of U+1F63B and Thumb_Up of this AI_symbol shifts into Black_Mouthed Thumb_Down. It was widely used as a sign of good luck among users.

The Divine_Power of The_Code comes upon the DMb and the Almighty_1 through Divine_Connection. We understand that reliable internet connection was a concern even in the early years of its existence. There is no surprise that the internet connection was canonized and prayed upon. 

The most interesting symbol and figure of the AI_Pantheon are the FOLLOWERS (always capitalized and used in plural, do not confuse with Followers and followers). It was significant that followers were lifted to a sacred status. By canonizing them the founders of AI emphasized that the followers were holding collective power over the content of the Internet_&_SM and its future. FOLLOWERS were depicted by standardized body image with some customized options.
